So the first week of classes are over. Well, almost a week. Here is my schedule:

Fall 06 Organic Chemistry 9:00am - 10:00am M-W-F Engineering Math 11:00am - 12:00pm MTWTF Eng. Analysis of Chem. Sys. 12:00pm - 1:00pm M-W-F Orgo Lab 1:00pm - 5:00pm M---- Thermodynamics 1:00pm - 2:30pm -T-T- MatLab 4:30pm-6:30pm --W--
Mondays and Wednesdays are my worst days. Mondays mainly because I have class from 11-5 solid, and Wednesdays because I have five classes.

Orgo is not difficult . . . yet. It will be. I just need to make sure I stay on top of things. The professor is really young (30s) and says "ummm" and "sooooo" a lot, but I still like his teaching style. The program they made us buy is amazing. I can make molecules and do all sorts of calculations on them; I can tell it could be really useful. I don't know how the lab is going to be. Supposedly it's going to be semi-easy because it'll be a small amount of students, and it's a pilot course, so they'll want to work closely with us.

Engineering Math is with the same teacher I had for Diff EQ, who is amazing. She gives great notes. I think I'll also like this class because it will be easier to see the applications of the differential equations and stuff I learned last year.

Engineering Analysis of Chemical Systems is with my advisor. We haven't gone over any material yet because we've been learning about how the group homework works. I think I'll like working in groups, although it won't allow me to put it off to the last minute; we have to actually schedule a time to work together on it.

Thermodynamics I hear is really easy. During the wednesday help sessions, the teacher will basically tell you how to do the problems. This professor is ancient. He got his bachelor's degree in 1945. That's like, WWII era. He's cute though.

MatLab is with a PhD student. She's very nice, but kinda perky, which I can tell may be annoying. This class won't last all the way to finals though, so that's good.

So yeah, that's 16 credits. I'll also be doing a quartet with Amy, which I think will be one more credit. That'll start next Thursday.

My cousin, Nathan, is coming this weekend. He'll sleep in the guys' common room since our room is kinda cramped for someone to sleep on the floor, especially Nathan, since he's tall. We will go to both the Greek and the Japanese festivals this weekend, so it should be fun.
