It's about time I update, I guess. It has taken me a while to get back into the swing of things at school.
I started off with 18 credits, but after the second day, I realized that I was going to stress myself out needlessly. I think I was thinking that I wanted to get out in 3 and a half years, but I don't see a reason why other than not having a couple more thousand in loans. So I dropped thermodynamics, which most people don't take until their sophomore year anyway. I'm feeling much better.
I think I'm going to like all of my classes (with maybe the exception of physics). I'm taking psych pass/fail, so all I'm going to do with that class is attend the lectures and skim the book. I should be able to pull off a 65% without actually trying. I really like the prof for Diff EQ. She goes at a pace that is not too fast and explains the topics well. She's organized and has even gave us sheets with all the integrals on it for reference and a review of hyperbolic functions and partial fractions. She also seems very approachable if I need help, which I probably will. I don't like that intro to environmental engineering is so late in the day, but I like the class. The prof is really enthusiastic about the subject and doesn't just lecture, but involves the class. We will also be doing two group projects throughout the semester. I'm kinda worried about them now, but I'm sure later it won't seem so bad.
Lots of stuff going on within the next two weeks. There's bowling, floor dance, bowling again, ice skating, and a game show called "Just Married", which looks to be interesting.
All right, that's it for now.
