I Managed To Get A Goodmama!!!
I have now been refreshing the Kelly'sCloset site for days. I happened to look on it on Monday and saw that they would be stocking this week. I have checked everyday since. At 12:45 today, I decided to refresh the site just in case and instead of seeing "will restock the week of 3/17" I saw "$33.00" After I got the heart pounding and sweating under control, I immediately started to see what was for sale. I wish my computer was a little newer (it is pretty much ancient at 8 years old) since it was working mighty slow. I scrolled down the list and it was quite long. I immediately looked for a rainbow one, and then ended up with a Rites of Spring and a Rosebud. I hope that they were not oversold and that I will actually get them. I did say I would allow for a substitute since I am just so eager to try a Goodmama.
Of course in the excitement, I managed to suffer from "temporary stupidity". I just wanted to get them before they were removed from my cart. I know that my computer is slow and could imagine seeing the page saying "soory sold out". I never read the shipping carefully and just agreed to the Best Method, thinking that this must be the best and fastest shipping method. Of course upon closer inspection of my receipt later, I realized that this was 10-14 business day shipping. For one more dollar I could have had the 3-5 day shipping. Now due to my little brain fart I must wait even longer to get my Goodmamas and even see if I will gett he ones that I ordered. Oh well, at least I finally got my Goodmama. I couldn't believe how many were listed, and by the time I finished my order all that were left was 3 baby pink and one blue daisies. I didn't even notice the Blue daisies when I ordered or I might have chosen that instead. I probably just saw blue and moved along to the next pattern since I wanted them to be girly. Oh well, you can't be greedy.
Now to await the fluffy mail. I think that I will be watching for the mail man until they come. Of course I could have to wait up to 3 weeks due to my own carelessness.
By the way Scott wants me to sell them on Ebay. First, I would not do this to mothers who want one as much as I do. We should all be able to get them without robbing a bank. Second, I have worked really hard to get them and would actually like to finally try one on my little princess. Kennedy's tush is so worth the money!!! Maybe my husband should sell his Ipod video, the Wii, the GPS, or the Playstation instead.
Did I just compare diapers to high end electronics? Well they are worth that to me.
