Calgon... take me away!!!

I am really starting to feel the effects of Scott always working. I am just so tired of the same schedule all the time. I feel as if I am always getting kids dressed, doing laundry, washing dishes, changing diapers, and cleaning up. Let's not foget the constant baths. I can't imagine doing anything else, but a break would be much appreciated.

Now we have decided to add T-ball into the picture. So every Wednesday I will be dragging 4 children alone to the field. I am so happy that my husband signed me up for that. Not to mention that he has agreed to be coach, and whenever he falls short people come looking to me. I am sorry, but I have enough on my plate and I have nothing to do with my husbands "extracurriculars".

I hav decided to "force" more belly time on Kennedy, and after one week we are still in the same spot. She despises it and just screams. I wish that we had more money so that I could buy all of those expensive toys out there until I found one which worked. For now it is just bribing the other to lay on the floor with us and trying to increase each day by mere seconds. I know that she will one day crawl, but it alarmed me when the doctor said she needed more belly time for proper development.

I CAN"T wait for Easter!!! I love the holidays with the kids. We have bought a Star Wars die kit for the boys, and will be getting one for the girls soon. We have bought the Willy Wonka outdoor eggs to make egg hunting a little more challenging for Zachary this year, and managed to get a very adorable Easter bunny shot of 2 of the 4 kids (Duatin and Kennedy). The babes and I managed to decorate the house this week. Since Kennedy will not allow me to put her down, this required many trips up and down in the attic filling our hands with as much as we could, and then returing more times for the rest. It was a little stressful, but worth the work! I love seeing the excitement in the kids faces.

This weekend is the town Easter egg hunt, the basketball game Scott is taking 3 of the kids to, and the boys are going to the Franklin Institute for the Star Wars exhibit with Nanny and Poppy. It should be busy, but that is what I like the best. Then there is not time for the children to start fighting over toys or crying over who is doing what since we are all busy. Next week will call for a few playdates for the kids, volunteering for Dustin's center time, and preparing some more for Easter.

Now off to make sure that the kids have lunch and Kennedy gets a fresh diaper, followed by folding 4 loads of laundry and washing 2 more, ending with picking up Zachary and dealing with the afternoon part of my daily routine. As a reward to myself, I think that I will browse some Gymboree to see the new fish line (not that Madison will wear any of it).
