Well, the boy is home from California and I'm awfully glad. I woke up around 3am Tues with a disaster movie nightmare about the plane crashing so I was in a fine state most of the day. *L* Yes, Spike is upon occasion a neurotic mother.
Paul reports that with exception of the speedo guy that tried to sell them joints at Venice Beach ("he disturrrrbed me"), the band enjoyed their trip. It was his first time to the West Coast, first time riding rollercoasters, and if he had any other memorable first times, I really don't want to know. He liked Universal Studios better than Disneyland and really liked Santa Monica. He didn't like the air in California and said it hurt his throat. I told him that now he can report on smog firsthand if it ever comes up at school again.
Now I can finish off painting bear scarf slides so my hubs can show them off at the Scout booth this weekend at the Real. Texas. Festival.
