"Her name was Lola. She was a showgirl...."
I know that I have not posted in a long time. I have lots to update about but I do not have the time or energy to do a thorough post now.
I did want to say that my mom has a new dog. Would you like to guess what her name is? Oh you guess Lola, well then you are ever so correct. ;) Actually her name was Lulabelle, but for obvious reasons her name has now been changed to Lola. Essentially, one of my mom's neighbor's found this cute little dog wandering the street, but the neighbor has a big dog and they did not mesh well so my mom took her. She and my middle sister went on over to the owner's house (the dog had tags) and it became very clear that the dog was not being treated that well at her current home so my mom offered to take the dog off their hands and viola my mom has a dog. *lol* I think this is just a funny situation because my mom said no more dogs and now one just fell into her lap. She is extremely behind in her shots so my mom is taking her to the vet get a full work up today. She gets along well with Fry & Buddy. Thankfully, she is an older dog (8) and not a puppy so the boys are not dealing with crazy puppy energy, which I am sure they would not be too happy about. She is a black & white Boston Terrier (a pure breed which is also odd with the other dogs being mutts), about half the size of the other dogs (aka 10 lbs or so), and has one eye. We are not sure how she lost the eye but we're also aware that one eyed Boston Terriers are not uncommon. My middle sister really has a special place in her heart for one eyed dogs so my mom is hoping that she might be able to take Lola when she moves, because she fears that 3 dogs might just be too much for her. In short, she has only been at the house since Monday and she is already part of the family. :) I cannot wait to meet her.
