Weekend free
The kids are at Scott's mom's until Sunday! We had a great time Friday night and went into NYC to see Spamalot, the Broadway musical. What a fabulous show! I love love love Tim Curry as Arthur. During the "Black Knight" scene Tim Curry started laughing and couldn't continue for a moment. It was great. We FROZE in the city, and of course I wore the wrong shoes (Ann Taylor pumps...lovely, but not for walking) and we couldn't get a taxi. ugh. Dinner afterwards with a friend. We slep in until around 2pm (I do love sleeping in) and have had some great ADULT time (wink wink, nudge nudge).
We're getting ready now to go out to dinner with some other friends and then to a movie.
Going to Atlantic City in March for an Emergency Nurse's conference with some co-workers. JoAnne is coming to stay with the kids because Scott will be in Tampa for the luggage show (oooohh isn't that fun). I'm going to have to think of something extra special for Jo for helping us out. The kids actually gave me a hard time about going this weekend and I made them listen to a thirty minute explanation about how mommy and daddy deserve a BREAK. They always have a good time with her, it's just kicking them out the door initially.
