Irritated
I think someone tried to scam me! I received an email from "paypal" saying that an "unauthorized user" had added themselves to my account and I needed to clink the link to let customer service know if it's legitimate. I clicked the link and a "security verification" screen came up. They wanted to verify my credit card number. So, I entered my card and the last thing they wanted was my bank account pin number. That sent some serious red flags up in my brain. I exited out of that screen and went to the paypal.com site. It became clear to me that someone was trying to scam me. Their "site" looked very real!! I reported them to paypal but now I'm very unnerved that I even put my card number in to begin with. UGHHHHHH. Why can't people just get a real job instead of trying to scam others.
