He has the saddest little cry, heartbreaking almost. oh and the way it stops and he curls into me when I pick him up. He is so soft and so nuzzleable, especially his head and neck. He is filling out, looking more round and less wrinkly. Which is cute but I do miss the scrunched newborn look. I still can't believe how much he looks like me. But ( Read more... )

my coworkers baby did the same thing. well, she rolled over really early too. i kinda didnt believe her, or thought it was "mommy moment" (you know those times when moms are so proud of their little ones that they are mistaken about what they did.) but apparantly not.

he sounds very cute and sweet!

my mother actually made a comment once that she's heard of babies who start off a little smaller can roll over and lift their heads a bit earlier then the larger chunkerwads. the theory being that they don't have quite as much weight to heft and no belly to get in the way of turning over.(smiles..with memories of my chunky baby trying to roll over and her belly sending her back the other way) we don't know if there's anything backing that but it sounds plausible to me. I know that my oldest brother, who was the smallest of the four of us, did actually roll over, crawl,ext....sooner then the rest of us did. though beliving that he was lifting his head that quickly is difficult.(wow) i can't wait to see him.:)

Glad to hear that the little guy is doing well. We also have a variety of nicknames for each of ours.
Hopefully the thrush gets better. We used acidophilus from a natural foods store (same bacteria as yogurt) with Brandon.
All my kids held their heads up right away, but the rest is certainly impressive.
