Challenge For Myself

"Art washes away from the soul, the dust of everyday life."
Pablo Picasso

So,
tuckspuddn, came up with a great idea to stay focused and productive creativity wise.  My New Year's resolution this year was to go out every other weekend, when Justin had Malachy, and take pictures.  I stuck with it longer than I have a lot of other resolutions, but for the past 2 months, I just haven't been going.  But when you have people with you, and backing you up, you are more likely to do it.  So she decided that we should make a commitment to posting something creative that we have done every Monday.  She has started a community,
creativemonday, so that we can post what we do.
What's great is it can be anything "creative."  Sewing projects, photographs, poems, stories.  I am a member of a few craft communities, and I have been trying to find a way to motivate myself more.  I have joined challenges on www.scrapbook.com, and it is helping me.  But most of the time there is a chance to win a prize just from entering.  This way, it is kind of expected for you to post something, although like she says, "There's no pressure. If you miss a week, it's no big deal. I just thought it would be fun to encourage one another."  So, I'm joining, just thought I would let ya'll know, since I met most of the people of my friends list in the craft communities.
On a slightly related note, I got a child support payment out of Justin, a whole whopping $23.54.  So, to celebrate I ordered 2 Scrap Toutor disks.  The were both only $15.99 together, they are usually $60.

And BTW, I'm watching Supernatural, season 3 online, the episode Bedtime Stories.  That is the name of one of the 2 porn shops in our town.  I think there is a def. connection, at least in my mind between Jensen Ackles, and erotic pleasures.
