The Writing's Overflowing
I started working on my Labyrinth fic, and what's happened? It's totally taken over - it's becoming really long! That's not a bad thing though; it's probably the first time I've written with a whole plan in mind. I actually see this story right through from beginning to end, and that's the first time in years that's happened. I'm enjoying the writing, but I wanted something a bit shorter too, to get going with.
So, I turned my attention to the 100 themes thing I found, and picked out a couple of prompts. I started writing for one, and...
IT'S HAPPENED AGAIN!!!
The writing's started getting beyond what I originally expected! It's turning into another fic all by itself! I want to write more before I post it anywhere though.
And so I've got one massive fic, one getting to moderate length, and my poor 100 themes currently have a grand total of 1 which isn't quite complete.
The plus side to all this - at least I'm writing, and that's got to be good.
Totally unrelated to all this, I watched The Mortal Instruments movie last night, and I really enjoyed it. Has anyone read the books and if so are they as good as the film? I usually do this the other way round - I'll have read the book and then watch the movie, so this is a bit different for me. I'm pretty sure I already have the first book somewhere, hidden away in the deepest recesses of my weighed down bookshelf. I'll have to go hunting and find it.
