today i surveyed three apartments:
Apartment Number One had the perfect location, price, sunroom, potted plants and neighborhood but had finicky locks and an upset kitchen that was depressingly tiled. there was moody, brooding, orangey five o-clock light and it was only three thirty! once upon a time someone or something was obviously very wrong in the kitchen (even though they were very happy in the sunroom). location does not mitigate a sad kitchen, i'm sorry. i consulted kennedy regarding the Pros and Cons, the main con being Bad House Energy. she said "would you like to be alone in that apartment?" and i said "No!" with surprising force. i am so disappointed!
Apartment Number Two had a perfect build in vanity, orange bathroom and aqua cabinets in the kitchen but had angry/impossible locks and was in The Riviera.
Apartment Number Three had hardwood floors and a cozy neighboring houses and a neighbor who gave away Sex and the Christian Single and other exciting books. but then the neighbor came to the door and had a lazy eye and an unfortunate smell about her.
so then i sulked around the neighborhood with my embarassing frappucino and thought about how much i wanted my own little seventh street or pecan apartment but with a dishwasher and character both at the same time. will i get my wish?
then i came home and ate organic french onion soup afloat with miniature garlic pannini and melting cheddar-jack. it was good.
