Didn't have to work today!

I was on call at the store this afternoon. I also wanted to go to my cousin's son's birthday party. Well, I called the store at noon and they said that I needed to come in. When I get there the manager on duty says that I can go home because she was told not to use on call shifts. That didn't hurt my feelings any, but it was too late to go to

Glad you didn't have to go in to work today. I don't want to go tomorrow! It's snowing cats and dogs right now. (Can snow do that?) I REALLY don't want to commute in this stuff again. *cries* Stay warm, hun! ♥
