Didn't have to work today!
I was on call at the store this afternoon. I also wanted to go to my cousin's son's birthday party. Well, I called the store at noon and they said that I needed to come in. When I get there the manager on duty says that I can go home because she was told not to use on call shifts. That didn't hurt my feelings any, but it was too late to go to the party. Instead I walked around the mall a little. I bought one of my mom's presents and I got myself seasons 2 & 4 of Will & Grace. FYE had a buy one get one free sale. I guess we'll be going to get something to eat in a little while.
Man, it's getting cold outside. Thankfully it's nothing like what they are getting in other parts of the country. I couldn't imagine being in blizzard conditions.
