Hangin' in the Bluff
Since I couldn't get back to sleep I decided to go ahead and get up. Besides everyone else is up and bluecamosis is getting ready to make us breakfast. Today we are going to Avery Island. That's the home of the Tabasco sauce.
Me and erynnpronter made it to Lake Charles (or as the "Chuck" as it's affectionatly called) in about 4 1/2 hours. We were the first to arrive. I got to meet Bella, who is my new BFF. Shortly after Olivia, swtcamden, rainymemories, deemichelle, and laiksmarei arrived.
Last night was "deli" night. We made sandwiches and had Harry Potter-themed deserts. We had lots of fun playing Rock Band. I started out on the drums, but after a few songs I realized that my true calling in the game is as a singer. Even though I didn't know all the words I managed to get some good scores (thanks to a little help from laiksmarei).
Although my air mattress and sleeping bag is comfy and all I just couldn't get to sleep at first. I think it's because I'm so used to staying up longer when I am at home. I listened to my iPod for awhile and also played on my phone. I finally got to sleep, but it took forever.
