I spent a good two hours reading The Strange Affair of the Spring-Heeled Jack. It's pretty much crap. However, I did persevere. Until the phrase, "pale green orbs" was used to describe a character's eyes. I didn't think real, published authors were allowed to use such cliched, florid, purple writing. I mean, even fanfic authors know better.

I went in to take a practice MCAT this morning. It was almost the real test, the only difference was that we didn't take the writing section and the other three sections were a bit shorter than the real thing.
