So the day after my patient died? My attending informed me that our patient who refused a foot amputation in the setting of a chronic non-healing diabetic necrotic ulcer overlying a calcaneous with osteomyelitis was suing us.

This is a great sign for me.

I only have 2 more days left of this rotation, and I'm extremely bummed. If I could have any wish at the moment, it would be for another 4 weeks of general wards.
