So, self, you're about 20 minutes shy of leaving to take your first boards exam and...you are absolutely, completely, irrevocably screwed. You only have a superficial knowledge of the material and you couldn't even be bothered to refresh and recap the material over these last few days. You had every opportunity to make one hell of a fantastic score, and yet you blew it off.
Yes, you're gonna pass (only idiots don't pass), but you'll be extremely lucky to make even an average score at this point.
You better pray that you get extremely lucky and that concepts you actually might be able to guess accurately at compose the majority of the test. You also need to pray that this isn't the point at which your luck (that has gotten you through most of your med school exams) doesn't run out.
Just know that, whatever happens, you only have yourself to blame.
