I got some good news from Anthem today. I was worried that I hadn't gotten a bill for last fall's gallbladder surgery. It turns out that they'd covered it almost in full! Would have been nice to know sooner so I wouldn't have been going nuts about it. They didn't completely cover the hernia repair. They paid 90%, and I'm paying the hospital with a payment plan. It wasn't that bad, but a lot to pay at once. The part that wasn't covered was the extra day and night I spent in the hospital.
Anthem's insurance policies can be screwy, but thank God I have it.
I'm just about recovered from the hernia surgery. I still have some minor pains around the incisions, but they don't bother me too much.
Non-health related stuff- choir is over for the season. Thank goodness, because the robes are a beast in the church choir loft. I swear, the thermostat is always set to "broil the choir"!
I'm back to baking cakes for coffee hour at church regularly. This is yesterday's cake: a subtle nod to Pride Month.
The transition from spring to summer in the garden is in full swing. Here are some sweet miniature roses:

Finally, some super adorable Peanuts themed stuff from My Life As. Briony and Corinne model them.
I just got a new AG catalog today, and I saw what I want to use my reward on this month!
