My scan was early Thursday morning. It turns out it was supposed to be 8:20 p.m. instead (oops), but they were able to squeeze me in almost right away. It was a quick scan with no contrast dye. I got the preliminary results a few hours later. No surprise, I do have a hernia. It's a spigelian hernia, and they can be hard to treat. I'm having a lot of pain and discomfort, but I have to wait for the doctor to study the scans and decide what to do next. I will probably need surgery, and it is going to suck. Spigelian hernias almost always have to be repaired with open surgery. Laparoscopic can be done, but the results are less satisfactory. So if I have to have surgery, I have another five days in the hospital to look forward to. So much for planning to join Mom and Dad on their Kentucky trip.
To cheer myself up, I bought a new American Girl outfit. Ezri models it here:

Spring is coming!
I'm dog sitting Maisie. I'm bored because my dumb ass left my cross stitch chart at home. I was ready to do a lot of work tonight. I brought everything but the chart.
