Wow, it's been almost a month since my last post. Not much happening. I've been busy working on crafts for the church's upcoming Oktoberfest. Mom found a pattern for Bavarian style dresses, and she made dresses for Katie and me. I even found a doll dress and an ornament beer stein for Briony! She's adorable. She'll sit with me at the craft table.
Yes, that's Georgia in the background in a Princess Tiana costume. She's really beautiful in it.
Mom and Dad and I went to Dillard's and Macy's because she needed a dress for her long delayed high school reunion. I made out pretty well myself. My favorite purchase of the day was a Halloween pillow.
I finally was able to do an outdoor camping photo shoot with Corinne and Gwynn. I love the little tent. It's been put into storage for the season.
I have so many plans for those two for Christmas!
Mom and Dad are in Louisville. I couldn't go because Rory needs medicine every night. If the trip wasn't a full week, Katie could have come over every day to give him the pill, plus feed and play with him. I'm so bummed out. We're probably not going to New York after all. I'm upset about that. Maybe after Christmas we can go. Katie is going next week, and I'm going to stay with Maisie. Tomorrow, the three of us are going to get apples and then there's a wine tasting (none for Maisie, of course!). And there's a special event at Maymont that we're going to after Katie gets back from New York. So I at least have something to look forward to this fall! Still hoping that I can go back to Disney World next year to celebrate officially beating ovarian cancer (unless something changes). 2023 is the 100th anniversary of the Walt Disney Company. Wow!
