My brother brought his son, M, late this afternoon. We ate dinner and walked around the neighborhood, and now M and R are in the tent in the back yard, listening to bedtime stories. It's practice camping, my brother said. He's been talking about doing this all summer, sleeping with M in a tent in our back yard.
When we visit them - it's just an hour away in San Jose - B and I sleep in a tent in their back yard because they don't have enough room in their house. I enjoy it, but I think that it's funny that my brother is coming to see us for the express purpose of sleeping in the tent, rather than the visit being the primary motivator and the tent is a necessary tool to make it work.
