Quick update:
My boys are recovering well from their tonsillectomies last Thurs. Today was the first day of school, and they both said they had great days and are looking forward to tomorrow.
The results of my appointment last week were not as conclusively reassuring as I'd have liked. Doc said it's most likely nothing, but is sending me for more tests to be sure. Yippee. Aging sucks.
Out of the blue, dh's boss hired an assistant for him! It'll take months to get him trained in, but there's a light at the end of that tunnel, at least. :)
Tomorrow is Friday! I love Fridays when school is in session. I tend to have less extra kids--sometimes none!--and actually get time to do stuff, like read, or get my hair cut! It's like a vacation, except for having to catch up on all the housework, lol.
I've been trying to get the number of unread messages in my ff.net alert folder down. I've gone from 100+ down to 75. Though I have to admit, a lot of the deletions were chapter updates so I only kept the earliest for each fic. I suspect the rest of the folder will take longer to get through. Sort of makes me wish the ff.net alerts would stop working again for awhile...lol
