What a weather yesterday, really! That was just too crazy!
I had two classes, so couldn't really just stay home. It wasn't that bad in the morning as it was only raining. OK, when I stepped out of the house, I realized it was blue-iced everywhere (I didn't even try to get down the stairs; I went back inside, took the pot of sand and safed the stairs with it. Then I got - slowly! - to my car (abri Tempo is love lol) and drove to Uni. There was a lot of traffic, but I got there like 10-15 minutes later than usual, which means I still had half an hour left before my first class. But you could tell on the Island bridge that it was icy as there was a Matrix out of the road.
But anyway.

The biggest problem was more at the end of the day, because I didn't know that rain would transform into snow... Having known that, I would have parked my car at the Peps, protected from the weather...

You should have seen my poor Coco, there was ice everywhere, and I had a hard time just to open two doors (everything was stuck). Then I spent 10 minutes trying to de-ice my car (windows, mirrors, lights...) but all that was directly on the blue of my car I didn't touch (I mean, I love the paint to stay on the car, not on the scratcher, right?)
At least, it gave the time to my car to heat up (it's an automatic car, so if the engine is not hot enough, it won't shift beyond the third or fourth speed... shitty on the highways).
So I drove on, it wasn't that bad (well, it was better than I had imagined!).

The worst was on the bridge. There's like a flat part between the bridge and the Island and there are fields on both sides of the road, no (or almost) trees. I tell you, I experienced the worst case of "I see no-thing!!!" at that place ever! Seriously, we were four or five on the lane, going at 20-30 km/h, all on four flashers; and I was at the head, which means that the others were counting on me to get through the snow, and to stay on the right lane...! Well, twice I was in the middle of the road until other cars arrived in the opposite direction (all the while I was sure I was too much on the right, and going to fall in the River.. or the snow before lol). We couldn't see a thing for a long while, then a short pause of "wow, I can see!", then another case of heavy snow. Shitty, I tell ya!
I still got to get home, safe and sound. Just a bit afraid, and very hungry (it was 7:15, and I had had my lunch at 12!)

Luckily, I don't have to go out tomorrow and after tomorrow ^^
If you have to take your car, be careful ^_-
