Yesterday, I had the wonderful opportunity to see Blonde Redhead and Annuals. It was pretty exciting. The shirts were kinda pricey, but did I care....no. Annuals were good, if loud, and Blonde Redhead was pretty awesome. It was a kinda awkward concert...because Blonde Redhead played....and then they left...and then nobody in the audience left, and so they heckled the stage for like 5 minutes....and then the band re-emerged...not looking very happy. The encore was great, except for the fact that it was really awkward, and they didn't look happy, and they(i.e. Kazu) were extremely angry looking. It was interesting, because she kept touching the guitarist...and so I was wondering....hmmm are they dating? So I came back today....and looked it up on wiki....and she's married to the drummer? it says. I mean that wouldn't be so bad, if the guitarist and the drummer weren't twin brothers, which makes me think of totally inappropriate romantical scenarios. But...yes it was awesome.
Little Five Points really ups the hobo factor. I mean I was just getting used to our little Athens homeless peoples, and I go there...and WOW...Those guys really blow the competition out of the water ( for example, a homeless guy wandering around with no shoes on picking up chicken bones), and they all looked fairly crazy, and they weren't nice. I don't know if this creeps other people out, but personally, seeing pigeons pick at chicken wings...kinda really freaks me out. It's like strange bird cannibalism. It would be different if it was a bird of prey or something....but a pigeon? crazy.
I'm a horrible driver, and I nearly got into 2 accidents last night...but I didn't. In general, I'm a horrible driver, but I've never gotten into an accident, or a ticket or anything...it's strange. I wonder if all my luck is sucked up into protecting me whilst in an automobile.
It's FINALS. I have ONE left, and then I'm free, but unfortunately...it's my history class. While I like History, I have a lot of problems with his midterm/final test format, and it's cumulative. I should be studying but yeahhhhh. My grades are pretty good so far. 3 A's , but French and History are either going to make or break me. The highest grades I can get in those classes are B's. So here is hoping for mercy.
I want to see Waitress that movie with Keri Russell and Nathan Fillion....because he is awesome. It looks cool, but it's not playing near me yet :(.
DRIVE SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN CANCELED. I think that is ridiculous. We canceled Drive soooo we could show House reruns....? House is great and all, but canceling a show and replacing it with reruns? Might as well just leave it there.....and not cancel it AFTER THREE EPISODES.
Gilmore Girls is ending too, and I feel kind of screwed over. However, we'll see how the last two episodes appease my bloodthirst.
I bought two books today : Out by Natsuo Kirino and Perfume : The Story of a Murderer.
They should be interesting, but they make me seem strange, because they are both about murders. I'm not crazy I swear, and I've never killed animals :)
I want to become a regular of Big City Bread Company...because while the birthday cake I got there suuuuuuuuucked.....who knew buttercream....was more butter than cream ( and now whenever I make cookies with a lot of butter...I'm like..this smells like my birthday cake).....anyway THEIR CARROT CAKE....IS F***ING AWESOME. It's delicious and moist, and really filling, but awesome, and I don't even really like carrots, or raisins. It's delicious. Big City Bread Company is just awesome. I love basically everything. Yay! for good food :)
I have a job interview on Wednesday, and I hope I make a good impression. I love books, it is at a reading room, so I think it is a good fit :) I want to be a student assistant, please hire me :)
I'm looking forward to the end of the school year. I have a lot of things to do this summer. I want to go on a roadtrip...to Wisconsin to see the House on the Rocks ( it was in the Neil Gaiman novel : American Gods), and so that kind of already makes it awesome. I have to beat Chulip, and maybe finish Dragon Quest VIII from a couple of years ago while I'm at it. I have to finish watching Deathnote. Try to watch me some more Bleach...etc
But now. I have to study!
