Storm Aftermath
Hurricane Irene passed through New England as a tropical storm on Sunday. My neighborhood was fortunate in not being heavily damaged and my home did not lose power. My brother visited us on Friday and Saturday. Mom & Dad were very pleased to see him. Late Friday night he and I enjoyed watching episodes of Alphas & Burn Notice on TV. On Saturday he helped me move the deck furniture to the tool shed. That turned out not to be necessary but better safe than sorry. Today's weather was picture perfect and should be for the rest of the week.
