Hello everyone!
Did you ever notice that any information on a "skirmish" with "insurgents" and "islamic extremists" in Iraq is generally pretty sparing on details. In fact, we are often only given a few bits of information--location and number of people killed are the most common. I have been wondering about casualties for quite a while now. The dictionary defines casualties as those persons killed or wounded in conflict. The wounded are the important part, since if severely wounded these people are also just as incapable of fighting as the dead.
Casualties in Iraq....a difficult number to come by....
Look it up if you are interested....the number I got was 25,000.
