The Nyanko Chronicle Report #92:
The Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle - Chapter 168
This report is greatly dedicated to my great friend and apprentice Chow-chan, who has finally returned to the Live Journal world. *genki* How much I have missed her and I truly understand that you are busy with your high school duties. Ganbatte ne! You have made my day and very happy with your return after seeing your recent article on your journal. Okaeri nasai, Chow-chan!! *big hug attack*
Splash Page Rating: A very cute splash page featuring the White Mokona as it is sleeping soundly in the cage. Now by the looks of the background, it is the country of Nihon and I love the suspended cage. Even having the branch with the sakura flowers inside the cage is very pretty too! ^o^
Syaoran and Watanuki are facing each other inside this strange place, wondering if Watanuki is having another dream. Curious to know that if he is meeting him in this dream to say his parting words. Suddenly, Syaoran grabs him and begs him not to disappear as he shows deep concern for him. In a while they were having a conversation about Watanuki hearing him say those words so often and remembering that Syaoran paid a price to save him.
Watanuki asks Syaoran if he knows the true connection of their relationship with each other that seems so important. Syaoran says that he knows it from his father and mother. Oh my gosh... this part is the surprised me the most, hoping that he will reveal the answer to this mystery.
However... this was not going to happen as Syaoran says that now is not the time. Watanuki is shocked to hear Syaoran says the same words that Sakura-hime told him a long time ago. About how it is very difficult to change the future and how it will become unstable if the truth of the unknown future is told. Great, Syaoran... you just left us waiting for the truth once again. *sighs* Just when I want him to answer his question, he has to be all that mysterious once again! Goodness gracious!! Dang it, Syaoran!!! >____< *slams fist on table*
Anyway, Syaoran is surprised all of a sudden when knowing that Watanuki had met Sakura-hime. Basically, they were talking about how she wanted to change the future and she feels guilty for hurting Syaoran when she didn't want to. Syaoran says that it will be good enough if she tells the truth in front of him. Watanuki tells that those words were the same words that Sakura-hime told him. Syaoran tells that it is because they are pretty close than anyone. I wonder what could he mean by that...? O__o Demo ne, I have to say that I love the look on his face as he said that with a smile. How lovely!! ^___^ But before he awakens from the dream, Syaoran tells Watanuki to take good care of Sakura-hime.
Meanwhile in Yuuko's shop in modern Japan, she informs that she received the group's payment in order to arrive at Feudal Japan after Celes. In other words, their winnings from the tournament didn't only allow them to travel to Celes. In addition, Yuuko says that Tomoyo-hime paid a heavy price... knowing that what she foresaw would be very painful. The Black Mokona agrees that seeing a dream and not able to do something is very painful. I definitely have to agree with the black pork bun, it has happened to me so much and I feel guilty that I can do nothing if the dream is meaningful. All right, let's get back to finishing up the commentary report...
Nice to see the Ginryuu and the phoenix tattoo once again, but yes... it is already known that Kurogane and Fai will be a no show in this chapter. ;____; *sobs in the corner* Anyway, Yuuko says that both Clow and Fei Wong Reed have seen two different outcomes of the future. That not everything will go according to what they have foresaw. She mentions for example... that Sakura-hime's separation of body and soul and the group's escape to Celes wasn't part of Fei Wong Reed's plan. He originally wanted for Fai's second curse to be activated and that two people would manage to escape - meaning Syaoran and Sakura-hime.
However, even using the magical earring from the White Mokona... it wasn't strong enough to overpower Fai's magical curse. Things and outcomes during the group's journey have been in favor or against Fei Wong Reed. The Black Mokona asks if he is going to win, but Yuuko answers that it is unknown. People's wishes are stronger than someone able to see dreams of the unknown future...
Goodness gracious, Yuuko Ichihara... couldn't you make this more complicated than you have already been with your not-so-straightforward talk? @___@
As for Syaoran, can't you at least tell everyone who you really are and the mysteries behind you once and for all!? MOU!!
By the way, from this moment on... I'm keeping a counting of certain things...
The Other Syaoran No-Show Counter Since Chapter 135: 33 chapters and counting...
Sakura-hime's Dream Slumber Counter Since Chapter 148: 20 chapters and counting...
