So the last few days have been boring especially considering that i havent really felt like going out. I think i am getting sick. Blah. I hate that feel, on the edge of sickness, yet feeling rather fine. That uncomfortableness that can last what seems like forever, can almost be worse than the illness itself.
Anyway, Denisse and i are gonna go play tennis tonight, how fun! SHe has been jogging with her mom as of late, and i went with them yesterday evening and thats when the topic of tennis came up. Apparently that two weeks during PE in which Denisse and Brian played "orgasm tennis" left quite an impression. This should be a great way to circumvent the inevitable call from Brian/Seth about our in-appearance at Erin's this evening. Its funny to me how the guys rely so much on their alcohol that they cant image not drinking. Not doing the normal ritual of Trashed on Wed. at Erins. Me and Denisse are quite content however to give them a clear birth, which is something decided after Clayton's lovely evening of binge drinking, BS talking, and well, darn near alcohol poisioning. (a lovely topic not mention on my little escape journal due to the fact that even now it upsets me, as does his lack of conviction?.
My finger hurts like hell. Managed to Rip my whole freaking nail off today at work. Oh my goodness was that painful! I like the lady who i am going to for my nails, she is nice, speaks english, and is really fair in her pricing.
So after Nisse and my jog last night we went to her house for Chamomille tea to discuss recent events.
Amanda called me. Said she had been fired, but it doesnt really matter, the business was going down the tubes anyway, considereing that right now people dont have money to spend on real stained glass, much less faux staind glass.
So i told her that we were hiring at front desk, and i recommended her today, although i am not sure how wise that decision was, especially after what happened with my last employee recomendation. But Amanda isnt a flake, she is loyal, and she would take the job seriously, at least seriously enough to show up on time and stuff. (which is all it takes to keep that job) So hopefully, she will be able to get hired, and this job will be really beneficial for her.
Yeah!!!! James and i are going to Midland in late Aug. Yes yes i said Midland, and yes i am excited about it. There is an awesome Christian concert featuring POD, Jars of Clay, Plumb...etc ITs $10 for all three days and you get to camp out. I cant wait. This will be such a great weekend of Praise and Worship, and just totally release to the Lord. Then we are also going to try and go to Albuquerque on Labor Day weekend, taking Denisse with us, because I think that it would be great for her to see this amazing art town.
Aaron's Bday was Sunday, and unfortunatly i didnt not have any money for a gift, but he is such an amazing person. He was SOOOO thankful that i even called to wish him happy birthday. Just that small thing made him happy. I am really glad that there are some people still in this world who understand that it is the thought that counts, and are thankful at what they get, no matter how small, how large, how much. But friday i will show up at his house, with a little debbie, covered in candles, and decorated with whatever little bit of fun i can decorate it with, and i will give him his gift. I love that he is so thankful.
Oh by the by...my bro finally got his GED and will now be on his way to taking classes at Epcc this fall.
Anyway, well i guess i will go now, and eat some of the yummy tomatoes that my dad grew, and call my cousin, cause he called twice yesterday, and that is out of routine for him, so i am a bit concerned.
