I went on a wonderful nature walk today with my bio lab and saw some plants I never knew existed, much less right here on campus in loverly Santa Barbara. It was fun. I'm applying for an internship at Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle for the summer and its really exciting but there are so many opportunities in so many different labs! wow! This afternoon I went to Friendship Manor and had a lovely time weeding and planting an interesting clay pot full of various waxy creations. I just got an email for a milonga this Saturday. I thought I could quit tango, but just reading it makes my heart pound a little faster and visions of black and red swirling figures flash through my head, accompanied by the smells of tea and candles, and I recall the satisfied soreness of high heels after a night on the floor.

This has been an awesome Memorial Day weekend and today's off to a great start too. :) Friday night the biker gang watched Star Wars and then we went to Improvability, it was decent but not always funny.
