I am using daughter's old wee laptop. My dongle gave out again...fucker. Elijah is finally peaking out a bit. He has so meany physicical and emotional obsticals he's dealing with. I can understand Dom being caught in the middle but damn...he kinda gives up in this chapter. He disappointed me.
"Unexpectedly, Elijah pulled Dom in for a tight hug and kissed his cheek. “Thank you,” he whispered.

“For what?” Dom asked, resting his chin on Elijah’s shoulder.

“Not giving up on me.”

This was a very important moment for Elijah and Josh broke in. He didn't want to be disrespectful to a friend he loves. He should have told him to go away but its all so raw, and He is blind. He senses but doesn't *see*.
Elijah has changed since the accident. Some days I’m not sure I still love the person he’s become.”

I wanted to slap Dom for this. DUH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Changed since the accident? He's freakin blind!
I feel no sympanthy for Dom here.
Hope Elijah continues to get his confidence. It is in baby steps.

I'm so sorry Dom disappointed you! D: Think of Dom like this: He's got himself, yeah? And everyone has personal pressure to deal with. Put onto that being away from home, (like REALLY FAR, coz he's from England) working a new gig far from your FOSTER home (continental States), and to top it off, your boyfriend has been blinded and is now sinking into a very dangerous depression. Would you feel the need to give up at times? *nods seriously*

I think you should take another look at Dom . . why can Elijah change and Dom not? Would not Elijah's accident have SOME impact on Dom? He can't just be a solid rock FOREVER. He's human, too. :)
