I am sort of amused by how upset some fans get over JKR's inconsistencies. She was never good at math and I think she mostly picked a birth year for Dumbledore by writing down a nice looking&sounding number (like, say 1881) instead of actually figuring out which year he died, how old he really was at the time etc.

A little while ago I read in Joker that the Slovenian translation of the seventh HP book will be translated by the previous translator, J. Kenda (!) after he'd been replaced by Gradišnik for the sixth one. Yesterday was solstice and an extremely hot day, a friend of my graduated (yay :)) and I went to listen to Placebo in Trieste.
