Greetings from Amsterdam
I hope everyone had a nice easter weekend whether or not you celebrate anything. We went to visit friends in Serbia, which was lovely.
Yesterday - one day before we left I got terrible food poisoning, but it seems to have been a one day thing as I am feeling much better today, thankfully. At the airport we saw batman. Or, well a guy in a costume. They let him on a plane dressed that way apparently. I was very much amused. :)
Free wi-fi in a cafe we're currently at. :) We're feeling rather lazy, so not much running around planned for today. Tomorrow is Queen's birthday, which is apparently a mad partytime all day for the Dutch. I am looking forward to everyone wearing orange. :D but not really to public transport not working. We'll have to do lots of walking on foot tommorrow apparently.
If anyone has any tips on what to see and do in Amsterdam and Rotterdam, I'd love to hear it. :)
