She didn't ask if he wanted her to hide, she asked if he wanted her to hide the book. So even he couldn't find it. But she'll know where it is, yeah? And maybe she'll find the tiara, too? WTF is up with that? One of the few things I predicted correctly (that the tiara was going to be a horcrux), and they left it out of the movie? I want to know HTF Harry is supposed to find that tiara now. Will Ginny say, "Oh, I saw something like that in the RoR when we hid your book."?

I kept hoping, the entire time we were getting spoilers and more and more pictures of that kiss, that it would be wonderful. But it wasn't.

I hate the shoelace thing. HATE IT.

You and me both. The more I think about it, the more weird it seems - I mean there's Ginny in her nightgown, robe and slippers, with Harry fully dressed and she bends down to tie his shoelaces? Suggestive imagery aside, it just rubbed me wrong.

Actually, she didn't ask about that. She stated quite plainly that it had to be done. "That can stay hidden up here too, if you like" doesn't refer to her or the book, but the kiss. It means they don't have to talk about it, it doesn't have to mean anything if he doesn't want it to. I thought that was pretty awesome myself, very in keeping with Ginny's laid-back, undemanding character, but perhaps like with many things in these movies, I'm in the minority.

Yeah I liked that about Ginny too. I thought the kiss itself was very seductive albeit not passionate.

I especially LMAO at Ron's "So did you and Ginny do it?"

It was really unclear, because all four of us left there thinking she said "I can hide..." I'm not sure why it was unclear - if it was how it was spoken or just the (how we felt) weirdness of the scene, but thanks for clearing that up. It makes more sense to us now ( ... )
