It was really unclear, because all four of us left there thinking she said "I can hide..." I'm not sure why it was unclear - if it was how it was spoken or just the (how we felt) weirdness of the scene, but thanks for clearing that up. It makes more sense to us now.

However, I have to disagree with you. I don't particularly think that it reflects Ginny's character because I don't particularly think at that point in their relationship (pre Dumbledore death) that she wouldn't want to talk about it. At the end of the book, when he tells her he can't be with her, her silence doesn't really equate, IMO, to how she acts in this scene.

Anyway, I do want to clarify that I did enjoy this movie. I think people are thinking I didn't. Mostly (and I know you like him) but I think Kloves needs to work on his teenage boy dialogue. Really I just think he needs to rethink the cheesy lines he loves. Maybe it's because we've picked the books apart so much and are so hypersensitive to the characters, but for me (and I think those I watched with) it is a bit jarring and pulls me out of the scene and the moment.
