Final Fantasy VI: Edgar, Terra, and Sabin are strung together (drabble)

In the Returners' storage cellar, Edgar found Sabin teaching Terra string games.
"Apparently, she's never played cat's cradle before," Sabin said, stretching a tangle of yarn between his hands.
"Ah."
Terra tentatively slid her fingers through the web. "But if I do this..."
The strings shivered into a new pattern of diamonds.
Sabin clapped, Terra flushed, and Edgar blinked.
"Here," Terra said shyly. "You try."
"Oh, I don't really--" Edgar started, but they were both staring at him with wide, hopeful eyes.
"Very well. I taught Sabin everything he knows about strings, you know."
"Yes," Terra said. "He told me."
