YAY!!!

I love when you post these. This has to be one of my favorite. I felt when I watched the show that Jeff's change of heart came too quickly when just Pierce confronted Jeff, but if you throw Annie into the mix, I really feel like Jeff would change his mind.

It is like by allowing Wu Mei and Pierce to have a chance together, he is showing how he is open to him and Annie getting together.

Thanks. Yeah, during the episode, I think Jeff had a line about the age difference between Wu Mei and Pierce, (although I can't remember it now), and I just that 'there's my chapter!'

One of the perks of having the show back even if it's not rich on Jeff/Annie is that your fic is back too, Yay :D

This, as always, was just what the Doctor ordered, I totally wanted to know more about that ketchup fight at Winger's and I love that you have Annie confronting Jeff about what jerk he's been all episodeevening, geez, the writers really decided he's been too good lately and switched Jeff-The-Jerk mode full on this time, didn't they? I literally cringed at almost everything he was saying this episode (and his pick-up lines are again, terrible, I'm sure he ever got laid mostly because of his looks, not pick-ups XD) And what's more upsetting he was kinda jerky and crude to Annie too, AND that's not how they usually are

I hate when they make Jeff too jerky, because I love Jeff and I feel like I need to defend him even though I agree. I hope one of those millions of lessons they make him learn actually sticks, because we know that he loves the group, so there's no point in him acting like a douche now. Like, they can still have him be sort of selfish and all because that's who Jeff is, but he's also nice.

I'm sure he ever got laid mostly because of his looks

It focused on how Jeff was afraid that if he got with Annie she'd realize she could do better and dump him, and I thought that was an awesome take on the entire thing, cos in most stories he's scared of hurting her, not the other way around

yesyesyesyesyesyesYES, I KNEW you'd understand, only someone who loves Jeff would understand, it's especially hard for me because I have this aggressive feminist half of my brain that makes it difficult to love anything male just by association and it makes really difficult for me to love someone despite their faults so I need to find reasons to justify those faults and that kind of behaviour from my favourites, and my whole brain is crying when I can't find them and explain or when the reasons are not enough to justify what they do, the bottom line is I just HATE it when they make difficult for me to love him and there is not good reason why he is like this.

It focused on how Jeff was afraid that if he got with Annie she'd realize she could do better and dump him, and I thought that was an awesome take on the entire thing, cos in most stories he's scared of hurting her, not the other way around.
I can try find it for you if you'd like to read it.Heh, I've read like everything that's been posted to this comm (I'm a ficavore, I need fanfic and there isn't nearly enough in M/M fandom, I'm spoiled by the Doctor/Rose fandom which has an endless supply of fanfic) but I've actually thought about that take myself even before, I don't think fear of hurting Annie is the only reason he's staying away, I'm pretty sure Jeff is afraid of getting hurt too, I mean he doesn't believe in love/best friends, those kind of things that put heart on the line. I think what first prompted me to think about Annie growing out of Jeff was another ship (it's actually from Grey's Anatomy, but whatever),
