Well, guess I should update
Especially since not everyone who reads my blog here was at my wedding on April 28th. :)
David and I were married on April 28th with 10 friends and family present.
It ended up being a lovely day - very springlike and warmish. I made my skirt (dyed it myself and everything!) We were married lakeside in Cadillac, at the Rotary Performing Arts Pavilion. My dear friend fruitbat5150 got ordained especially for the occasion and performed the ceremony. It was short, but meaningful, and we both choked up a couple times. Everything about it was wonderful. We made everyone wear beanies - consider them wedding favors. :) After, we took everyone out to lunch at Lakeside Charlie's, a local place on another lake. It was fun having everyone sitting at one table, sharing stories and laughter. As it was late in the afternoon, we had the room to ourselves and never had to worry about disturbing others, though we wouldn't have anyway.
