Jul 6, 2006 Project Runway Season 3

Project Runway Season 3 is going to be amazing. I've been watching the previews with the interviews, casting clips with Daniel V. and Tim's interviews...I already am a huge fan of Kayne, the totally fabulous flamboyant queen from Nashville, TN. His fashion icon is Dolly Parton, he "still likes Britney Spears even though she crazy!" He's very much Emmett from Queer as Folk and as such I will be pulling for him the entire season. On another note, I think Laura will surprise a lot of people, she's an architect but there's a lot of untapped potential as well as the right mentality going in it.
Big Brother 7: All-Stars started tonight. I'm really excited, even though it's funny that last year's heroes from Big Brother 6 are already somewhat of the unlikables this year. I love Dr. Will for being indignant about Jase "underestimating him" by not nominating him for eviction; that kind of smug self-importance is what makes him such a great reality show villain without fail. Hopefully he gets all the way to the end against Marcellas and Erika.
One of these days I will have an extensive update. For the record, St. Pete Pride was a ton of fun, Kelly Clarkson did not put on nearly as good of a show as she did a year ago in Tampa, and Flirt after Kelly was really good times. This weekend I will hopefully be going out, it's 2 weeks till Madonna and 5 days till Andrea turns 21. Just wondering, some of you South Florida peoples that know Miami a lot better than I do, where should I go since it will be my first post-21 Miami experience? Everything I read tells me Twist, I wouldn't mind going back to SoHo Lounge, but there's probably some amazing 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th options, preferably one where Madonna might go to after her Saturday night show. If you recommend a place and Madge shows up there, I will owe you majorly.
LSAT is going well. I really think that a score in the low-to-mid 170's is not only feasible but...almost probable if i continue to work and improve at the pace I have since my diagnostic. I have to recommend Kaplan, even though a lot of it may seem silly over time their methods, combined with a lot of natural discernment ability, do rock. If I were applying today, I'd apply to UF, Texas, George Washington, UCLA, Arizona State, and Emory. Maybe American too but definitely no more than 7. Austin, TX; Washington, DC; and LA, definitely 3 places I could envision myself in a year. Austin has an aire of familiarity to it- UT is a similar school to UF (albeit with a more competitive, top 15 law school), Austin is similar to Orlando in size and in growth but more liberal, and just, I think it would be a nice change from Florida without being culture shock in the same way DC might be at first. Not that I wouldn't mind some culture shock, b/c my personality is very adaptable, but at 22 in a completely new environment with completely new surroundings and the final "clean slate" before entering the job market...a tinge of a familiarity might not hurt. Target Date: Sept. 30th. Until then, trivial things are merely footnotes. Hell, even dating, which would be nice right now, would still be 2nd on my priorities. I hate being in a dating rut (mainly because of my cowardice when it comes to being honest about what I feel, for whom, etc.) but at least it's hitting at a time where I can invest my entire being into the most important 4 hours of my life when determining my future on that Saturday pre-Florida vs. Alabama in football. Haha, yes i will have a flask in the car, and if I'm in a celebratory mood it might just call for Belvedere Vodka on that glorious night. That celebration, if I come out of the test with a good feeling AND if UF has a win...well, lets just say lots of you G-Vegas people will be invited to good old Campus Lodge (yeah, year 3) 614 for a good fall hurrah.
Good night to all. Watch the 2 best guilty pleasures of the summer on TV! And Kathy Griffin, Aug. 4 in Lakeland, be there or be heteronormative!

EDIT: Oh, and both Superman Returns and The Devil Wears Prada were fantastically enjoyable. When "Vogue" came on during DWP, I of course had to dance along. Madge, permeating every good thing in art and culture.
