there's this article that everyone who has anything to do with social work or sociology seems to know about. i didn't know about it until just last year, but it is so completely brilliant i wish i'd had the chance to read it in highschool or something.
it seems that she's thrown in a few of her points on heterosexual privelege towards the end of the list as well. the article i just read in my textbook had them listed separately, but i'm not about to type out the whole article, this is the closest i could find.
best of all it was written by a white heterosexual woman confronting herself, not a black lesbian in a wheelchair educating everyone else on how not to hate her.
