i know it is totally not me but...

i was flipping through the internet in an effort to avoid reading and briefing cases (my how time changes one, doesn't it? i remember when i loved briefing cases and formulating the principles that drove the answers. i remember how exciting that all used to be, and now, now i cant stand it....) and i stumbled upon a friend of mine's blog and there was something about this poem he wrote that just struck me. maybe its the rhyme scheme; maybe i only like poetry with fun rythm; or the abab scheme or somethign silly and juvenile (not that the poem is, or the style, or anything about this one, because, well, i dont know, it lifted me up just a little longer into the clear cloudless sky and the stars smiled as if they knew the secrets of the universe
and so i give you M.W.'s

Happiness is
-------------

Happiness is pots and bowls
That eat up ceiling drops;
The roof is always full of holes
And rainfall never stops.
The rain is nourishing to all,
Though some will find it wet
And cold. For when the shy drops fall
On skin, we cannot help forget
That when it sprinkles on the land
It brings us food and life.
The pots and bowls are seldom grand
At first, in all life's strife.
But as we grow, so they do too
And echo with a din
Of joy, and then we fill our rooms
With pots and pans and tins.
