The Hot Tub Comes Today!
Hope I’m not getting a kidney infection…my lower back has been killing me! Possibly because I’m not drinking enough water; sure hope it’s that simple.
We have a mouse problem here at work, and I keep seeing the damn things running around. Scares the crap out of me, just seeing things moving around. They’d bring a cat in, but too many people are allergic. Guess they’ve finally got an exterminater coming soon.
Weather was beautiful the last couple of days. 70’s & 80’s. Just perfect.
The electrician (Gayle’s brother-in-law) came and put 220 on the outside for the hot tub, and it’s going to be delivered this morning. It’ll take up most of the yard! Really looking foreward to it.
My biggest concern is dealing with Bill and his wandering hands; something I’ll have to deal with right away or I’ll be dealing with it forever.
Let’s see, what have I been doing? Monday I met Val for lunch at The Spot. That was good seeing her. She’s going through some hard times, but she’s smart and very capable, so I think she’ll be okay.
Tuesday I took Eileen to K-Mart and to Wal-Mart. God! I was exhausted. Told Angi when I got home that this made us even for her taking Eileen tile shopping.
Wednesday I puttered around the house, getting nothing done. Read some. Enjoyed the weather.
Now I’m back at work, trying to be a good worker bee and keep my attitude up.
I’ve also started to keep a food diary AND keep track of my spending. We’ll see how that goes.
Had a late lunch Thursday with Jess at La Fogata. We were aiming for Old Chicago, but somehow missed it and ended up way past it. La Fogata is okay mostly, but they do put cilantro in lots of their dishes, including the guacamole. I HATE CILANTRO!!!!!
Tried to sleep when we got home, and managed to crash for less than 3 hours. Finally gave it up and got up to watch some TV. "Bones" was good, and I'm really getting into "Southland." Love that there's a gay character.
