Mom decided to be sneaky and mix dried cranberries into Lana's bowl of dry cheerios. Lana, discovering this, dumps out the bowl so that she can more easily reach the cranberries. After she finished the berries she put all the cheerios back in the bowl, like nothing ever happened.

Lana has discovered how to open all the doors in our house. In a matter of a minute, she had disappeared, went into the office, and sat down in my office chair and started typing away. Time to go buy door guards.

CONSTANT VIGILANCE.

Amber and I took Lana to get a flu shot today and asked the doctor his thoughts on thimerosal/mercury and whether it was safe. He was pretty convincing saying that it was pretty much just tabloid fear mongering (which I've thought for some time). What are your thoughts on vaccine safety?

We went to the Fort Worth Botanic Garden (www.fwbg.org) today to feed the coy fish in the Japanese garden.  I didn't know that coy fish could become as large as what we saw, some fish were probably 2 feet long ( Read more... )

So it appears while I was at work today Lana decided Kix was no longer a cereal I should be eating.  I'm glad at such an early age she's concerned with my eating habits.  Guess it's back to Cheerios. :)
