A girl on a message board I frequent recently got the words "cela passera aussi" tattooed on her wrist. She then proceeded to post to the board, saying that she's Italian and she wanted the Italian phrase for "this too shall pass" tattooed on her wrist, and can we please verify that "cela passera aussi" does in fact mean "this too shall pass"?
First response: "It does mean "this, too, shall pass," but it's French, not Italian."
Another poster then replied with the Italian: "Ciò ugualmente passerà."
The original poster's reply? "It's funny, because I actually got that translation too, but the reason I chose the other one was because that wouldn't fit across my wrist haha!"
