ups and downs
Well Florida has been alright. The fourht of July really sucked. I spent it alone... it really made me realize that I have no friends here yet. Not that I would necessarily expect to have any but it made me really depressed to know that my family was back home on the boat and I could have been with Mary. Not even a phone call. I talked to the boy for over an hour though and that made me feel better. Misery loves company I suppose. Things with the roommates are better and I know that if they werent here I would be quite lonely.
I got another new job and this one I actually think Iam going to like. I got hired as an instructor at Keyboard Academy. Yup I teach piano lessons. My first lesson was given to the senators son! I thought that was kind of cool and he's a really nice guy. The lady is trying to convince me to teach beginner guitar, before I had even accepted she scheduled me some lessons to teach. That will be interesting... I suppose as long as I am just one lesson ahead of them it won't be a problem!
I am going to go see pirates tonight at the midnight showing and I am kinda geeked for it! (yes I said the word geeked)
In other news, my roommate and I beat donkey kong country 2. Thats mainly what my last 3 weeks has consisted of. Do you think I should go on to DK 3 or choose a different venue for our next conquest?
