Anime Expo 2013
I went on July 4th and 5th. It was very fun, but very exhausting, too. I'm taking a summer class at my college, so I had to go to school on the morning of the fifth, so I arrived really late to AX and missed out on a lot of panels and events, sadly. I am horrible with buses. I went on the wrong bus the first day and didn't realize it after a long time since it went the same general direction as the bus I was supposed to take. On the second day, I missed my stop because I didn't hear my stop come up. And, when I went back the next day, I fell asleep on the bus and missed my stop by a whole lot. I arrived at late on both days, but I still was able to do more things this year because I was able to stay later at night. I saw the AMV contest, karaoke competition, and comedy panel. The AMVs were generally good this year. As always, I went through the exhibit hall and artist alley, but didn't buy much because I was low on money this year. The disappointments this year: not as many Attack on Titan cosplayers as I expected (wanted to see some titans too) and not as many cosplayers of anime this year, so I ended taking very few pictures. This year, I saw so many homestuck, adventure time, jack frost, nintendo, and other game/movie cosplays rather than anime cosplays. I mean, that's not bad, but I kinda do want to see anime cosplays at an anime convention...
