Oh well, I am not dead. Not yet. But I've been bad. Why did I think I can rest if I take a break?
Fool am I.
I have worked a little bit on my stories and it has been so frustrating. The climax just don't work. In none of the stories. I am taking a break no. Jeez! I want to be a writer. I gotta write. But, I CAN'T. Argh!
And I am spoiling little Ma Belle silly. I should spend lesser time with her. She's so intelligent. I am not even teaching her right. At least the vet is happy that she's healthy and growing well for the puny one we had brought home over a month back. sssssSiiiiiiigh! I SO love her!
She's wayyyy prettier and bigger now.
And then I hit National Market after 9 months. Picked 45 DVDs, so obviously those people had been missing me. Jaae Tu Ya Jaane Na was OK, so was Penelopé. I especially liked The Blue Umbrella and went bonkers over Sweeney Todd. I need to write about them.
I haven't written anything for the Community paper lately. Moreso because the French Keyboard is driving me nuts! Incidentaly, it was not annoying enough to deter me from writing about The Dark Knight! Is it the best superhero movie ever or is it! Saw it on the first night and am going to watch it again and again and again! I am smitten!
I have been hanging out a lot over the weekends. With folks from work, so to say. Checking out new joints with the husband. Btw, Taj Westend has a lovely new restaurant - Masala Club. rvi and I reviewed it. Soon to be published on his Food Blog. Check that out - they serve nice, low cal Indian food with a twist. The place is brilliant in the pleasant Bangalore afternoons. And oh! They have about 50 new French wine in their assortment of over 200 wines from across the world. I was happy since we had checked it out at Beaunne.
And Take 5 hosts this brilliant Jazz and Blues live very Sunday night that I and Arvi have been checking out for the past 2 weeks. They are amazing. last week it was The Jazz Revival. This week it was another whose name I foret. An added advantage is the Belgian beer hey serve. Woo hoo!
I gotta freshen up and go out now if I want to prevent my life to revolve around Ma Belle's sleep and feed time, hehe....
