Not much to report - but I did get the job! It's only seasonal, but it starts out at 7.25 an hour (minimum wage is 6.50 here), which is better than a sharp stick in the eye. I'm basically just happy to not have to look anymore. I got lucky that I got hired at the first place I applied at knowing that I now seriously need money. The past few months I've been slacking because working for my neighbor has met my needs, but now I need to save close to 4 thousand (car, teeth, moving costs, money I owe my parents from when I was in beauty school) - eep!
I've been on what I like to call "daughter replacement duty" for my neighbor. It's getting close to the holidays and her daughter skipped off to Colorado to spend Thanksgiving with her dad. Suddenly, I'm needed over at her mother's house a lot more than usual! Hmm...interesting. Her daughter is evil, and only comes to see her mom when there is something in it for her. Sometimes her mom even pays her just to come over and decorate! Anyway, I've been earning quite a bit of extra money doing odd jobs for her, and I'll be watching her pets for 4 days this week, which equals 80 bucks for me. I think she pays me way too much, but she won't let me argue with her. At least I'm not her own daughter!
Well that's all for now. I have to get up early to drive my dad to the optometrist since he'll be all dialated and stuff. Plus, it's an excuse to get in more driving experience.
