Fox!
So I was sitting here waiting for dinner to finish nuking (What? Cook? Me?) and entering stash yarn and projects onto my new Ravelry account. A flash of movement outside the office window looked like the cat until I looked up again to see a small fluffy-tailed creature with a reddish chest and a mouthful of something like dead vole, trotting happily across the front walk.
pretty sure it's a fox cub...it wandered down the hill a bit and settled down to eat the snack. B watched further and caught a large jackrabbit loping across the yard keeping its distance from the cublet. First fox I've seen up here.
Recovering from this weekend's under-attended bookfair cum heat wave. The van is unloaded so now I can unpack/repack for the next fair in two weeks down in Pasadena. WE know how to party, indeed.
i think I'll return to my knitting now...
