(no subject)
Well, I woke up this morning feeling awful so I skipped two classes...my first time this semester. It's no big deal or anything because I notified everyone I was sick and all, but yeah...being sick right before Thanksgiving sucks.
I managed to roll out of bed for my last two classes and feel all congested and tired, but at least I'm still functioning. I'm about to go try practicing because I'm supposed to sing again at tonight's voice class and I could really use the experience. I don't think I've lost my voice yet so as long as I can find the energy, I should be okay.
My final World Views paper is due on Wednesday and then World Views is OVER! Yay! However, I still have most of the paper to do, which is uhm....anti-"yay."
I'm kind of scared abut flying, but I can't wait for Thanksgiving break. I need to get away from everything and hopefully come back refreshed and in a better mindset as far as getting work done goes. I've been extremely lazy these past few weeks.
I've made some really awesome friends and we've had some great times, but I still miss you all like mad. Sometimes I have dreams that I'm back home and then I wake up and can't believe I'm so far away. It's weird. Christmas break can't come soon enough....I want to be in my own bed again and have access to real food and real couches and a car and not as many financial worries and...yeah....I miss pretty much everything!
I'm not sure when I'm coming back yet. Classes end after like...December 11th or 12th or something, and then there are just study days and finals. My finals end the morning of the 15th...except for a Mus Ed final paper due the 19th. Hopefully, I can get permission to hand the paper in early and then maybe I can fly home on the 16th.
Is the BHS choir concert on the 17th? I'd really love to come see it if I can make it home in time.
BTW...we taped the CBS Christmas thing on Thursday. You can see me on tv with Willamette's choirs and Salem's First Presbyterian Church on Christmas Eve during the David Letterman time slot (11:30) on CBS. I'll have to tape it because I'll be at my own Christmas Eve service back home=) I'll try to buy it on dvd too, but yeah.
